Proposed first flyover project in Zamboanga City to be located at (MCLL) Highway-Governor Camins-Veterans Avenues secures Environmental Compliance Certificate as start of pile driving draws near this year.

This Certificate is issued in compliance with the requirements of Presidential Decree No. 1586, and in accordance to DENR Administrative Order (D.A.O.) No. 2003-30.

This ECC has been addressed to the Regional Director Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) IX

The DPWH District Engineering Office (DPWH-DEO) has started the initial ground works in preparation for the road widening project along the stretch of Governor Camins Avenue from the intersection of Canelar-Sta. Maria road to the intersection of Mayor Vitaliano Agan Avenue. Here is a photo of the road widening activity taken by Lloyd Saladaga on February this year.

The ECC covers the proposed construction of 437.70 meters Flyover at Governor Camins /MCLL Highway and Veterans Avenue including ROW, Zamboanga City to be located at Governor Camins - MCLL Highway - Veterans Avenue, Zamboanga City.

It can be recalled that Mindanao Economic Boom has reported the construction of flyover project as early as August 2017.

Funding for two flyover projects in Zamboanga City has been allocated. This is according to a TV Patrol Zamboanga...

There's another flyover project eyed at San Jose Gusu, but there are no updates yet regarding the project.

The first flyover along Gov. Camins Avenue is proposed to be completed on February 2021.
